Modsonic History
Modsonic grew from a modest annual sales of US$ 50,000/- in the year 1987 to over US$ 3 million in the last financial year ended on 31 March 2008. Admittedly not some impressive figure but at the same time not a mean achievement considering very limited Indian market in those early days. Now with the platform we have built for ourselves in terms of technology developed, Overseas distribution network and marketing agreements with some of the world leaders for advanced Ultrasonic Equipment and automation solution we are certainly poised for much greater growth in the coming years.
These four years proved to be the most dynamic and progressive for Modsonic so far. Three models of Einstein Series flaw detectors solidly established themselves as 'Star Performers'. On 11 September, 2010 Modsonic delivered 2500th unit of Einstein to a Ludhiana based customer which was a landmark achievement. Out of 2500 units more than 800 were exported to 36 countries in the world proving 100% user acceptance world over. In 2009 ' da Vinci ' Series Ultrasonic Flaw Detector were introduced which directly competed with the best in the world. ' da Vinci delta ' model with single channel ToFD was first displayed at ASNT show in Houston in November,2010 attracting great amount of interest among the delegates . In this period we had good success in selling Phased Array and ToFD equipment of M/S AGR,UK as their exclusive distributor in India . Also five automatic ultrasonic systems of M/S Sofratest, France were installed in various pipe manufacturing companies.
