Mini Magman Magnetic Scanner

This low-profile magnetic wheeled scanner is highly versatile and can be adapted for use with Phased Array, TOFD and Pulse Echo techniques.

A smaller version of the Magman, one of Phoenix’s best selling scanners; the Mini Magman can be used on everything from flat plate to pipes as small as 3” outside diameter. It is the ideal tool for testing pipe to elbow welds and for inspections where TOFD, Pulse Echo or Phased Array is being used to replace radiography.

The Mini Magman is fully encoded and holds up to four ultrasonic probes. It offers various options to the technician, including the use of a chain guide, belt attachment and non-magnetic wheels. The Magman is designed to operate with any multichannel flaw detection system and is part of a family of manual and automatic scanners.
